This Privacy Policy describes how CacheMash, LLC (“CacheMash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the CacheMash application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Your use of the Service is also governed by the CacheMash Terms and Conditions.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information received from third-party services you choose to connect, such as Google Play.
Information you provide to us includes account information such as your name, email address, and login credentials; links saved, organized, your annotation regarding the links you save; feedback to us regarding our app, support requests, and other service related communications.
We and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and use of the Service, including IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, usage activity, log data, crash reports, and diagnostic or performance information. Please note that CacheMash does not store your IP address.
When you buy access to our Service on a We may receive limited information from third-party platforms, such as app stores, regarding confirmation of your payment.
While you are choosing to store links on our Service for your personal reference, we are not independently collecting or tracking your browsing history.
What We DO NOT Receive, Need or Want
We do not need your SSN, your driver’s license number, your date of birth, or other such information.
And while you pay to access our Service, your payment is processed by and through the platform from which you access our Service. We never receive, and you should never transmit to us, credit or debit card or other payment account or related information. Please review the privacy policy and terms of use of those platforms to understand their data privacy practices before you use the platform to pay to access our Service.
Also, for your password for your account, please do not use the same password that you use for any other accounts – whether personal or business. You are responsible to keep your password secure. Your account credentials should not be shared with others.
Use of Information
General
The personal information we process is limited to your account credentials (name, email address, and password) and the links you choose to store within your account. We do not use your stored links to create profiles about you, market to you, or sell your information. Our service providers process saved link content solely to provide the functionality of the Service, including generating summaries, contextual notes, and responding to user queries about stored content. No other processing occurs.
Otherwise, we use personal information to
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Enable you to save, organize, search, and keeping notes about the links you save
- Process subscriptions (but not payment information) and provide customer support
- Personalize the user experience; communicate with users about the Service
- Perform analytics and research (but not about the links or sites you visit)
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Enforce our terms and policies
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect the rights and safety of CacheMash, our users, and others
Legal Bases for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract
To provide, operate, and maintain your account and the Service
Legitimate interests
To improve the Service, maintain security, prevent fraud, and ensure the proper functioning of the Service; and/or
Legal obligations
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
We do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing where such consent is not required for the provision of the Service.
AI Processing
The Service may use artificial intelligence technologies to analyze, as well as related metadata and contextual information. AI-generated outputs are produced automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
We use third-party service providers, including artificial intelligence model providers, to provide these features. The third party providers are required to sign data processing agreement which contractually prohibits them from using this content for any purpose beyond delivering the Service to the user. The content is not used for advertising, profiling or otherwise.
Sharing of Information
We may share personal information with service providers that perform services on our behalf; with professional advisors; to comply with law or respond to lawful requests; to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of CacheMash, our users, or others; in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or when you direct us to do so. Other than in the context of a merger or sale, as described in the preceding clause, we do not sell personal information.
We will not share or sell your stored links or browsing history, nor do we use this information to create a profile about you, market to you, and we do not allow any of our service providers to use your links and browsing history for any purpose other than to deliver our Service to you.
International Transfers
CacheMash is headquartered in the United States. Personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Where required by applicable law, rule, or regulations, CacheMash implements appropriate safeguards to protect personal information transferred internationally, including by entering into data protection agreements incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
CacheMash provides the Service globally. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable local laws, rules, or regulations. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction
Data Retention
In any given 12-month period, the only personal information we retain include your account username, your password, and the links you choose to store in your account.
Otherwise, we retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes, including recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and compliance with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary depending on your jurisdiction, the nature of the information, and the purposes for which such information is processed.
If/when you terminate your account, we will delete the information you stored within in the application (e.g., the links you saved and your reminder notes to yourself regarding those links).
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location or the jurisdiction you may reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include:
- The right to access the personal information we hold about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to restrict or object to certain processing activities
- The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction
These rights may be subject to certain limitations and exceptions under applicable data protection laws.
To the extent that you may be entitled to such rights and wish to exercise such rights, please submit a request by:

- Use available account settings within the Service
We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws, rules, and/or regulations. In certain circumstances, we may be unable to fully satisfy your request where an exemption or limitation applies under such applicable data protection laws, rules, and/or regulations. In compliance with such a request, we may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
To the extent required by applicable law, rule, or regulation, we will, upon receiving your request, make reasonable efforts to comply with such a request to the extent that such information remains in our possession, unless an exception applies. We may decline or limit a request only where permitted by applicable law, rule, and/or regulation, including where we are unable to verify your identity or where an exemption or exception applies under applicable law, rule, and/or regulation.
Please further note that in response to a request to exercise access or data portability rights, certain jurisdictions may generally allow us to exclude or mask data that would reveal a trade secret or security information. If you wish to “port” (the right of portability) your account information (e.g. the links you have stored), you can copy and paste them into a new account as you choose. If you need further assistance in this regard, please contact us as provided below.
Further, please also note that certain jurisdictions may limit the number of times a consumer may exercise their access and data portability rights for free. Nevertheless, we generally allow consumers to exercise their access and data portability rights for free up to twice annually. Please further note that in response to a request to exercise correction rights, certain jurisdictions enable us to limit such corrections rights only to personal information previously provided by you directly. Further, certain jurisdictions permit us not to comply with consumer requests to exercise a correction right under certain circumstances.
In certain cases, deletion of your personal information may require deletion of your account in order to fully effectuate your request. At the time your information is deleted, we will destroy your personal information using reasonable data-destruction practices. Please note that certain jurisdictions permit us to restrict your deletion rights to only cover personal information provided by or collected from you directly. Any time you go into your account, you may see the links you stored, and you may delete them at any time. If you wish us to delete your account and “forget” your stored links, please terminate your account by navigating to “Settings” within the app and delete your account. Within 30 days of termination of your account, your stored links will be permanently deleted from our Service. We will only retain your name and email thereafter for purposes of pursuing any claim regarding moneys owed or to respond to your inquiries or claims.
If you are unsatisfied with our decision in connection with your request, you may submit an appeal. We will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decisions. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your local regulator, attorney general, or equivalent to submit a complaint.
If you are not satisfied with our response and are located within the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it as required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Without limiting the foregoing, CacheMash encrypts data in transit, on the mobile application, local data is encrypted, and passwords are hashed. Other measures are also employed by CacheMash and its service providers. However, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted. Please check the effective date at the top of this Policy.
Third-Party Services
The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies. We integrate with Google Gemini, Apify, Firebase, Apple and Google Play app stores, and other such service providers.

You may also exercise your privacy rights by submitting a request through your account settings within the Service or by contacting us at privacy@cachemashapp.com with sufficient detail for us to process your request. We will respond to your privacy requests in accordance with the mandates of your jurisdiction’s applicable privacy laws, rules, and/or regulations (if any). If you are in a jurisdiction which does not have privacy legislation, remember you can always delete your account by going to Settings within the app and delete your account.
